We have a solution for running the P4 and all other power hog mother boards from 12 volts DC.
We modify the EPIA supply from 70 watts to over 200 watts!
This is a custom supply and will build to fit needs.
We install heat sinks and HEX Fet's to switch the additional 12 volt load for the P4.
This is not an inverter style. this is a full PWM supply so it is very efficient
We have had it under test for some time. It has run under full current demand for over 30 days straight!
